Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Sprint Raise website or services, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

Sprint Raise provides a peer-to-peer fundraising platform that lets organizations and teams create timed fundraising campaigns, add participants, issue personalized fundraising links and track campaign progress. Features may change as the platform develops.

Platform role. Sprint Raise provides technology that enables organizations and teams to conduct their own fundraising campaigns. Sprint Raise is not the fundraising organization. Campaign organizers remain responsible for campaign descriptions, the stated fundraising purpose and the use of proceeds.

Sprint Raise accounts are intended for adults. Campaign organizers, organization administrators and any other user who creates or manages a Sprint Raise account must be an adult who is authorized to act on behalf of the applicable organization or team.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your account credentials confidential, and for activity that occurs under your account.

Minor participants. Campaigns may include participants who are minors. Participation by a minor, and the participant information provided to Sprint Raise, should be authorized and managed by the organization and/or the participant’s parent or legal guardian, as appropriate. Sprint Raise relies on the organization and the responsible adults associated with a campaign to obtain any authorization required before adding a minor participant or their information.

Campaign organizers are responsible for how a campaign is described, for the accuracy of campaign and participant information, for the use of funds raised, and for complying with the rules of their school, district, league or organization and with applicable law.

Sprint Raise may decline, suspend or remove a campaign that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is unlawful, misleading or harmful.

Tax deductibility. Sprint Raise does not determine whether a donation is tax deductible and does not provide tax advice. Any tax-related status or representation concerning a fundraising organization is based on information supplied by that organization. Donors should consult their own tax advisor.

Fees. No upfront cost to launch. Sprint Raise earns a percentage of funds raised, with the applicable campaign fee clearly disclosed before launch. Donors may also elect to contribute toward payment-processing costs.

Refunds. Donations are generally final and non-refundable. Donors who believe a donation was made in error, was duplicated, or was unauthorized should contact Sprint Raise promptly at info@sprintraise.com. Sprint Raise may issue a refund when appropriate, subject to payment-processor rules, campaign status, and whether funds have already been distributed. Refunds are not guaranteed solely because a donor changes their mind.

Payout timing. After a campaign closes, funds are generally subject to a 14-day settlement and review period before becoming eligible for payout. Payout timing may be extended when necessary for payment processing, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, account or identity verification, fraud/risk review, or other legal/compliance requirements.

Chargebacks, disputed donations and payment-processor adjustments may be deducted from amounts otherwise payable to a campaign. Campaign payout details are confirmed during campaign setup.

• Using the services for unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive purposes.
• Misrepresenting a team, organization, participant or the purpose of a campaign.
• Uploading harmful code or attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorized access.
• Harvesting data about other users, or sending unsolicited messages through the services.
• Infringing the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.

The Sprint Raise name, logo, website and software are owned by Fund My Team LLC and protected by applicable law. You retain rights in content you submit and grant us a license to use it as needed to operate the services and display your campaign.

Content you upload. You must have the right and any necessary permission to upload the logos, photos, graphics, names, likenesses and other content you provide to Sprint Raise, including permission from the people shown in any photo and from the owner of any school, league or organization mark. You are responsible for the content you upload.

The services rely on third-party providers, including hosting, customer relationship management, messaging and payment processing. Your use of those services may also be subject to the provider’s own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

The services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant any particular fundraising result.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fund My Team LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost fundraising proceeds, arising out of your use of the services.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the aggregate liability of Fund My Team LLC, doing business as Sprint Raise, arising from or relating to the services will not exceed the greater of $100 or the fees paid or payable to Sprint Raise in connection with the applicable services during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate access to the services if these Terms are violated or if we need to do so to protect the services, our users or third parties. You may stop using the services at any time.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and post the updated Terms on this page. Continued use of the services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the services are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Fund My Team LLC is organized in the State of Texas.

You and Sprint Raise agree that the exclusive venue for any dispute will be the state courts located in Collin County, Texas, and the applicable federal courts serving Collin County, Texas, and each party consents to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
